Dr. Max Kinnamam is Board Certified and a Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Kinnaman completed medical school at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. His medical school training was followed by internships in Internal Medicine, Neurology, and Psychiatry at Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. While serving in the U.S. Army, Dr. Kinnaman completed Neuropsychiatry residencies at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii and Letterman Army Medical Center, Presidio of San Francisco, California.
Dr. Kinnaman has practiced in Kentucky since 1991 and has extensive clinical experience with inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, as well as providing service to the community by serving as Medical Director in many South Central Kentucky behavioral health hospitals. He also is a member of the American Neurological Association. Dr. Kinnaman has specialty interests in mood disorders, dementia, and mental and developmental disorders.
Dr. Kinnaman joined Kentucky Psychiatry in 2017. He provides services to adult populations.
