Lisa Sanderson is a ANCC board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Kentucky Psychiatry. She achieved her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Weber State University in 2007. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Western Governor’s University in 2013. She earned her post-graduate PMHNP certificate from Otterbein University in 2023. She was inspired to pursue a career in mental health as she raised children with autism, anxiety, and ADHD. She was worked in a wide variety of healthcare settings since her first nursing job in 2005 but found her true home in mental health. She is happy to help patients across the lifespan as young as five, has a deep love for neurodiversity, and is dedicated to promoting holistic mental wellness in her community.
